Meiling (also spelled Meilin) is also a transfer student from Hong Kong. She is Shaoran's cousin and is also engaged to him. She can be very annoying at times, doing nothing but hanging on Shaoran and whining his name. She also defends him during a Clow Card capture. Although she wears a Chinese costume like Shaoran and is a descendant of Clow Reed, she has no magical powers. She is really good at martial arts, however. She has the distinction of being called "the brat" by Kero-chan. And if you've noticed that Meiling is not in the manga, only on CD covers that CLAMP drew, that is because she is only an anime character.
